- Manage and lead a team of highly competent Artisans and maintenance personnel.
- Provide technical support and problem solving assistance to complex breakdowns.
- Develop and monitor team goals and provide individual coaching where required.
- Delegate work activities and empower team members to complete them to the highest standards.
- Your duties will include budget and cost control as well as implementing and monitoring planned / preventative and corrective maintenance strategies.
* A minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in the FMCG industry.
* Experience on process equipment like milling, centrifuges, fillers, valves, pumps, etc is preferable.
* Experience on budget and people management is desirable.
* An N6 / ND Mechanical / Electrical Engineering plus a Trade Test Millwright / Fitter is essential.
