- Improve overall reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs associated with bearing,s shafts, chains, conveyors, belts, sprockets, pumps, motors, drives, panels, PLC's and instruments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment and resolve identified issues.
- Diagnose actual and potential problems, make the necesary repairs and test new machines.
- Promote good housekeeping practices and maintain tools used in the environment.
* A minimum of 3 - 4 years post-apprenticeship experience is desirable.
* Experience in FMCG / Pharmaceutical on packaging/ processing equipment is essential.
* A National N Diploma / N6 / N5 Engineering plus a Millwright Trade Test is essential
